Norman Yonkers' Karate Connection MMA began the
NYS Grappling Championship in 2004.
In 2006, we were invited to be the NYS Representative for Gokor Chivichyan and Gene Lebell's Hayastan Grappling Challenge.
Our events are held in Fredonia, NY where our martial arts school has been
in operation since 1990.
We welcome all styles of grappling and belt levels to compete.
We are proud to be the longest running grappling tournament in Western NY. We receive many compliments on how our tournaments are run. We strive to make each one more organized than the last; and to maintain the great relationships we have made with our competitors and school owners over the years.
